You're checking the base of the slide-out after a long weekend and notice the right-hand trim cap is gone. The open end is collecting dirt and giving water a way in. This replacement screws into place to cover the opening and matches your trim.

Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our B&B Bottom RV Trim Cover for the left hand side in black. So folks, this is the left hand bottom trim cover and it's gonna replace a missing or damaged cap on the RV's slide out base trim. This is a secure fit, it's been designed to match the original left hand trim profile. And it has been color matched in black to blend in with your existing RV's trim. It's made of (bar clanking) a rigid plastic material, it's gonna withstand the salt spray from the road, just dirt, grime, extended weather exposure and it's made right here in the US.
Now what I mention dimensions this is gonna be 1 3/8 on the one end and it's wider at the other end, 1 1/2 and the manufacturer says it's 12 and 1/2" tall. Now where they're getting that from is if this was on a right angle plane and you had your ruler mine's 13" by the way, if you hd your ruler 12 1/2 on that center, the base of that line would line up with the bottom, so making a right angle they're saying is 12 1/2" based on that dimension. Now to me that's kind of confusing, personally. So I went from this end to this end that's the longest part that I can find on this trim piece. And I got 17 and 3/4" overall from end to end whenever I measured it.
So 17 3/4" tip to tip is what I got in length it also molded right in the center LH for left hand, so you can match it up as well, based on the molding and the plastic. And that's gonna wrap it up for a look together, folks, I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
